Haiti - Handifoot World Cup : Victory of Haiti [2-0] against Spain

For the third time in their history, our amputee Grenadiers participate in a Handifoot World Cup final (Mexico from October 24 to November 5, 2018). After their elimination in 2010 in group stage and in 2014 in 1/4 of final, our Grenadiers intend well this year, as the coach Jean Marc Thénord Antoine, to go to the final of this world cup Mexico 2018, which brings together 25 countries.

Sunday for their first group match, our Grenadiers who faced Spain on the lawn of the stadium of San Juan de los Lagos, have started well this World Cup final phase by winning a first victory [2-0] easily dominating by their mastery of the game and their speed a Spanish team unconvincing and reserved, for whom it was a first participation.

In this match of two periods of play of 25 minutes, Richard Redondo opened the score [1-0] in favor of Haiti in the first period and John Spinoza broke the score in the second half [2-0].

Remember that our Grenadiers play in Group D against Angola, Ukraine and Spain.

Group D provisional standings: Angola takes first place after winning [4-0] against Ukraine and Haiti ranks 2nd.
If Haiti succeeds in qualifying in the first round, note that the 1/8 finals will be held on November 1, the quarter-finals on the 2, the semi-finals on the 3 and the final on November 4 at 8:00 pm (time of Haiti).
